Welcome to the ClubWorx Sharx Summer Swim Team. We are so excited to have you guys join us.
Here is the practice schedule for the age groups.
We will not have practice on Tuesday nights. These will turn into our swim meet nights.
6 & under 5:30-6:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday (NO practice on Thursdays)
7-8 6:15-7:00 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
9-10 5:30-6:15 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
11 & over 4:30-5:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Season will last from May 15th through July 18th. Tarheel Swim Association usually has offered a championship meet at the end of the summer season. This is an optional meet that is not included in the cost of the season. I don't have a date for the championship meet but it is usually the weekend following the season.
Meet Schedule is as follows:
6/13- @ Regency
6/20- HOME
6/27- @ Highcroft
7/5- HOME PLEASE NOTE*** This is a Wednesday
7/11- HOME
7/18- @ Woodcreek
Warm up time for these meets will start at 5:00. I will go into more detail about meets as we get closer. Volunteering for these meets both home and away meets will be mandatory for everyone. We will discuss more of that at the parent meeting on Monday.
A few things to know
-For practices, please enter through the front door of the club for practices. You will enter through the locker rooms
-There will be no swimming in the pool except by the current practice. Please do not allow siblings to get in the pool. When the pool is open to the public and is lifeguarded, this will change.
What will they need for practice?
-swim suit- we have a team suit available for purchase. The information to purchase this suite is attached. This suit is not required, just an option. You will need to purchase the suit at All American Swim in Cary.
-goggles- please have these at all practices, a lot of kids like the tinted goggles for outdoors.
-towel
-We will have swim caps for the kids.
All kids, boys and girls with hair that is below their eyes will have to wear a cap.
